Day 01: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa – Overnight in hotel
AM
- Pick up at Lao Cai train station to Sapa. Check in hotel if room available or a good place to store your luggage (shower is possible) then breakfast
- After breakfast, start 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong.
- More trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people.
PM
- Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance to learn about the local house architecture with the confusion of their daily life styles through long -year customs.
- Enjoy the landscapes…on the way.
- Trek up to the main road for a standby car or motorbike to Sapa
- Check in hotel
- Dinner at Hoang Ha hotel
- Relax and overnight in Sapa

Day 02: Cat Cat & Sin Chai – Sapa – Overnight in Sapa
AM
- Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel
- A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam.
PM
- Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes
- Finally a car to return to Sapa.
- Dinner and overnight in Sapa

Day 3: Sapa - Suoi Thau - Ma Tra - Ta Phin – Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi by Night train
AM
- Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel
- 5km by car to Suoi Thau - Ma Tra villages then
- Start 9km trekking through the forest. Picnic lunch en –route.
PM
- Trek to Ta Phin village where we have chance to learn about the life styles and the custom of the red Dzao minority. Enjoy landscapes…
- Then a car to pick up to Sapa.
- Pack up your luggage then 17h30 transfer down to Lao Cai train station for the night train to Hanoi

Things to bring for this trip
